As the next evolution of the experiential effort that originally brought together the Air Force and Mad Mike at Galpin Auto Sports and famed MTV show âPimp My Rideâ in 2009, the new mobile site is a digital environment, which encourages exploration of the Vapor and X1 supercars and crews, and drives users to AIRFORCE.com to check out career information. The site also features technical aspects like accelerometer-based home page navigation, an app-like experience within a mobile browser, cross-device compatibility via browser-based solution, in-depth videos and photos about each car and their âmaking of,â and an event locator which uses the mobile deviceâs GPS capabilities.

The daily deal business has proven to be a tough one for companies like Groupon and LivingSocial, as they struggle with slowing user growth and mounting marketing costs. With that in mind, Groupon has shifted its focus away from daily deals by doubling down on promotions that don't expire and edging into mobile payments.


On Monday, Groupon will unveil the next step in this transition away from daily deals: restaurant reservations. Groupon users can now reserve tables at more than 500 upscale restaurants in 10 cities around the U.S. — including New York, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco — at a discount of up to 40% off. The immersive digital video website takes the viewer on a journey of the car through the eyes of people doing what they love. By simply scrolling, the Nissan Versa® Note™ digital experience transforms the hatchback’s defining characteristic—the hatch itself—into a gateway to passions and interests; turning it into “the door to more”.

To create Your Door to More, Critical Mass wove together a fast-moving image sequence in HTML that acts like a video to allow the user to control the viewpoint. Beginning in the Versa Note’s hatch, Your Door to More lets users fly through the back hatch to activate cinematic video vignettes at various hotspots. See the aerodynamic design details through the eyes of roller skaters, experience the cargo versatility through the perspective of street artists, and even learn about innovative tech from the vantage point of an RC helicopter enthusiast.

From the start, Critical Mass aimed to bring a human element to vehicle exploration that goes far beyond the 360-degree car panorama. Critical Mass teamed up with award-winning production company 1st Ave Machine to do a specialized shoot across four locations in LA to create custom video content for the experience. Your Door to More is the first initiative that will lead into the campaign for Versa Note starting this fall, created in partnership with TBWA\Chiat\Day and OMD.
